I worked with Jonathan at Masterful Construction for my primary bathroom remodel. He was prompt in his communication and led the project well. From demolition to final inspection it took just over two weeks, which exceeded my expectations. The subcontractors they used were professional, clean, and speedy. They left the place looking good. I wouldn't hesitate to use Masterful Construction again, but I probably would work harder to make sure I have chemistry with the designer, who I never gelled with. My understanding is she isn't working with them any longer anyway. That said, the bathroom looks great in the end. Masterful Construction completed remodeling my two 1980's bathrooms recently, and I am so pleased (and incredibly excited to soak in my new tub). Jonathan Mordechai was our project manager, and beginning from the initial estimate, his work stood out from the four competitors I considered. First of all, Jonathan was the only person who noticed the existing water damage in a wall and offered suggestions to remediate it. Secondly, he assumed that the project would be permitted- several other companies encouraged me to bypass permits, which I interpreted as probably shady about the work they'd complete. Jonathan and his team took accurate measurements, suggested materials and solid solutions to foreseeable construction problems, and dealt with vendors when the wrong materials were sent or delayed. The crew was respectful, reliable and cleaned up after the job on a daily basis. Jonathan understood my needs and was a strong communicator. He responded within 30 minutes every single time I had a question (even on the occasional weekend). The project timeline was planned for six months, but it was completed in just four months and one week. We hired Masterful Construction to build a 380 sq. ft. addition off the back of our house and remodel our kitchen and a bathroom at the same time. It was a big undertaking and took a few months, but the end result was worth every bit of the wait. Jonathan, our project manager, made a complicated project manageable. The addition involved pouring a new foundation, framing, electrical, and tying the new roofline into the existing house, and he kept all the different crews and inspections coordinated so things kept moving. He gave us a realistic timeline at the start and actually stuck to it, checking in with us regularly. When the inspector flagged something minor on the electrical, Jonathan had it sorted out within a couple of days instead of letting it stall the whole job. The kitchen and bathroom remodels happened alongside the addition, which we were nervous about, but Jonathan sequenced everything so we weren't without a working kitchen or bathroom for longer than necessary. In the kitchen we did new cabinets, quartz countertops, and an island, and opened up the wall between the kitchen and the new space so it all flows together now. The bathroom got a new vanity, tile, and shower, and it turned out just as nice. What stood out most was how reliable he was. He did what he said he would, when he said he would, and never left us guessing. The craftsmanship throughout is solid, the addition looks like it was always part of the house, and both the kitchen and bathroom turned out beautiful and functional. We bought an old house and decided to turn part of it into a real master suite by adding a new bathroom. We had a general idea of what we wanted, but nothing too clear. When we met Yuvi for the first time, he immediately understood our vision and came up with great ideas and creative ways to make it work within our space. A few days later, Yuvi came back with two detailed quotes and patiently walked us through both options. He answered all our questions and helped us choose what would work best for our home and budget. From there, everything moved smoothly. Out of all our initial consultations, Nur stood out and we immediately liked/trusted him to do our Master shower/jacuzzi surround remodel. And their estimate was reasonable in comparison. We had our old shower tiles from the 90's taken out and replaced by Corian because we didn't want to deal with cleaning grout anymore. Nur told us from the start that Corian would take a bit longer to get and installation has to be very precise. He was right. And with the installation also happening during the holidays, there were delays. But after 3 months, we are happy with the results! Yuval and all his employees and sub contractors were so nice and thorough. All the work is beautiful and safe. They had to move my wheel chair lift and then build a walkway to my door and stairs for the side opposite lift. They also replaced to other sets of stairs and placed a beam where need to support carport roof after moving posts out so I could park in carport with more than one car.
